Classes

Embracing Technology

Since the start of the pandemic in 2020, I have explored building a Yoga community virtually. At first, I didn’t think that it could be done. But now, I am amazed and in awe of those who have taken this opportunity to deepen their practice. With them in mind, I have decided to continue teaching my virtual classes for at least the next several months, perhaps longer. In addition, I will be cloud recording my Tuesday and Saturday “studio classes” so that they can be viewed by subscribers at any time or any place throughout the week. Therefore, even with busier schedules, we will be able to continue to grow our practice together.

Virtual Studio with Helena

Deep Yoga on Tuesday Mornings at 10:00 AM
Serenity Saturday Mornings at 11:00 AM

Virtual Studio was intended to replace my studio classes during the pandemic, but it has become a “permanent” change. They include Deep Yoga every Tuesday morning at 10 AM and Saturday Serenity every Saturday morning at 11 AM. The Tuesday class focuses mainly on asanas and the Saturday class emphasizes meditation and relaxation. A subscription price of $60 covers 2 months and includes both classes each week as well as recordings of the classes which can be viewed at any time. Send me an email at Helena@yogabyhelena.com if you do not currently attend and I will be happy to invite you to a FREE class.

Deep Yoga Tuesday

In the Deep Yoga classes, we explore and deepen the mind, body and spirit connection by practicing pranayama, asanas and meditation. Asanas for this practice will include floor, seated and standing poses. The poses are specifically chosen to customize the practice for those in attendance. Although all poses will be demonstrated on the screen, the virtual classes emphasize vocal guidance and cues. The goal is to find a deep, comfortable, and meditative state in each pose.

Saturday Serenity

The Saturday Serenity practice is intended to feel more like a spa treatment than an exercise class. All of the asanas will be on the floor with gentle stretches to release tension in the entire body. We also explore and bring awareness to the energy body and chakras. Each session ends with an extended relaxation practice incorporating Yoga Nidra, Reiki, Imagery and Meditation.

And remember, we are not limited geographically or by time zones so you can join us from wherever you have an internet connection!! And with the recordings, the classes are available 24/7! Sign up for email notifications on our CONTACTS page.
